Barentsburg by boat is a  10-hour trip which takes you to our Russian neighbors.  You will sail across the Isfjord to the Esmark Glacier and from there to Barentsburg. It isn’t unusual to spot seals, walruses or even a polar bear. Upon arrival in Barentsburg, you will be picked up at the pier by the local English speaking Russian guide. The guide will take you on a sightseeing tour through the town and reveal the fascinating story Barentsburg.

On the way back you pass Grumant, another abandoned Russian town from the 1960’s and after that you will also sail by the Birdmountain, as the name suggests –  is heavily populated by seabirds. The crew on board is dedicated to make sure you enjoy your visit and will serve you a delicious barbecue lunch.
