Isfjord Radio is the perfect trip for anyone who really loves nature and the luxury of a good meal in the middle of nowhere. Here you will find tranquility, history and an amazing view. Isfjord Radio is an old telecommunication station with a lot of history all the way back to the early 1930s.

We drive through snow covered mountains, long valleys and around the Grønfjord.  Of course, there are several stops so you have the ideal chance to take the perfect picture.

After you have been picked you up from your hotel, and taken to our changing room, we will give you a safety briefing and get you dressed.  Then we will drive to our snowmobiles and show you how to operate them.  It is very easily picked up and you don’t need any prior experience.

The trip to Isfjord Radio is approx. 120 km each way and therefore not recommended for young children.  The terrain is both flat and rugged, so you should be normal fit.

If you have any food allergies or health issues please let us know before the trip.

For our guests who need glasses we recommend switching to contacts, if possible, for the tour.
