This amazing snowmobile tour takes us to the Russian mining town of Pyramiden and will take us back in time. To the time when the city was in full bloom before it was closed down in 1998. At one point around 1000 people were living in Pyramiden. The city is still owned by the Russian company Trust Arktikugol, which also owns Barentsburg. Now, Pyramiden is known as the most northern ghost town.

We drive through snow covered mountains, long valleys, cross glaciers and fjords.  Of course, there are several stops so you have the ideal chance to take the perfect picture

Due to the increasing challenges with respect to the snow and ice conditions we do this trip only a two-day version. This gives us much more time to go for the longer, but safer way. Since this tour has a duration of two days, it offers to us plenty of time to explore the area and fit in many spontaneous stops.

After you have been picked you up from your hotel, and taken to our changing room, we will give you a safety briefing and get you dressed.  Then we will drive to our snowmobiles and show you how to operate them. Since this tour is quite long in different terrain we recommend normal fitness and preferably some snowmobiles experience. We do not recommend this tour with children.

Minimum age for Children is 12 years.
